PM Modi’s Strong Warning After Delhi Suicide Blast Near Red Fort — 9 Killed, Links to Faridabad Terror Module

In a powerful message from Thimphu, Bhutan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today issued a stern warning after the suicide car bombing near Delhi’s Red Fort that killed nine people and injured over two dozen.

Speaking at an event, PM Modi said — “The conspirators behind this will not be spared. All those responsible will be brought to justice.”

The Prime Minister, who is in Bhutan to attend the 70th birthday celebrations of King Jigme Singye Wangchuck, said he was in touch with investigation agencies all night and promised a swift crackdown.

This statement came as investigators confirmed that Ammonium Nitrate Fuel Oil was used in the high-intensity explosion on Monday evening — a time when the Red Fort area was bustling with tourists.

According to sources, the suicide bomber has been identified as Mohammad Umar, a doctor from Al Falah Medical College in Faridabad, and part of the recently busted Jaish-e-Mohammed-linked terror module.

Officials believe Umar acted alone after his associates were arrested earlier that same day.

The attack marks one of the most serious terror incidents in the capital in recent years.

PM Modi’s switch from Hindi to English during his address echoed his tone from the Pahalgam terror attack speech in April, which was followed by Operation Sindoor — a major tri-service strike on terror camps across the border.
