Grand Teacher's Day Celebration at Pioneer Public School, Balrampur

Balrampur, September 5, 2026 – Pioneer Public School and College, an English-medium institution in Balrampur, hosted a grand celebration for Teacher's Day on Saturday. The event was graced by **Dr. J.P. Tiwari**, former Head of the Botany Department at M.L.K.P.G. College, Balrampur, as the chief guest.

The chief guest was warmly welcomed by the school's Managing Director **Dr. M.P. Tiwari**, Manager **Er. Akash Tiwari**, and Vice Principal **Shikha Pandey**. They were presented with a badge, a bouquet, and a shawl as tokens of appreciation. The ceremony commenced with the chief guest officially inaugurating the event by cutting a ribbon.

Honoring the Mentors

During his address, Managing Director Dr. M.P. Tiwari expressed profound respect for his own mentor, Dr. J.P. Tiwari, and the school's Chairman, Dr. Prem Narayan Tiwari. In a deeply emotional gesture, he washed their feet with water and flowers, seeking their blessings, which visibly moved the chief guest.

Following this, the Managing Director respectfully wiped their feet with a towel, performed an Aarti, and applied a Tilak, symbolizing the deep reverence for the role of a teacher. The ceremony underscored the importance of honoring one's gurus.

Tribute to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan

The chief guest, Dr. J.P. Tiwari, along with all the teachers and students of the school, paid homage to the former President, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. They garlanded his portrait and lit a lamp, acknowledging his significant contributions to education.

Managing Director Dr. M.P. Tiwari highlighted the importance of celebrating Teacher's Day to the students and emphasized the significance of the guru-shishya (teacher-student) tradition.

Vibrant Cultural Performances by Students

A variety of colorful cultural programs were presented by the students to mark Teacher's Day. Students from Class 2 performed a group dance to the song 'Love You Teachers'.

Class 3 students including Kavya, Halata, Vidhi, Anaya, Aradhya, Sushant, and Ayushman delivered a captivating performance to the song 'Chhod Mummy Ka Haath'. Class 4 students, Mohini, Dshya, Sushant, and Aarav, showcased their talent with a dance to 'Guru Mein Sansar Samaya'.

Continuing the performances, Class 5 students – Ashi, Avantika, Shraddha, Nitika, Ibra, Komal, and Aastha – presented a splendid act to the song 'Mile Ho Tum Humko'. Students from Class 6, including Shreya, Riya, and Ananya, enthralled the audience with a dance to 'Guru Brahma Guru Vishnu'.

An Atmosphere of Respect and Joy

After the cultural presentations, all students shared a light snack under the guidance of the school's teachers. The final phase of the event took place in the school auditorium, where the Managing Director, Treasurer, Manager, Director, Vice Principal(s), teachers, and students collectively cut a cake.

The celebration also included a group dance, and sweets, biscuits, samosas, and cold drinks were distributed among the students. The school's Treasurer, Vice Principal(s), and all teachers commended the students' performances and offered encouragement.

The Managing Director concluded the event by hosting a tea reception for all teachers and staff members in honor of Teacher's Day. They were presented with gifts and wished a bright future, marking a fitting end to the day's proceedings.
