Grand Janmashtami Celebration at Pioneer Public School

Balrampur | September 3, 2026 - Pioneer Public School and College in Balrampur observed the auspicious festival of Shri Krishna Janmashtami with immense enthusiasm and grandeur on Thursday. The event featured a variety of captivating cultural programs that enthralled everyone present.

The celebration commenced with the lighting of lamps and aarti ceremony performed by the school's Managing Director, Dr. M.P. Tiwari, Manager Er. Akash Tiwari, Director Prakriti Tiwari, and Vice Principal Shikha Pandey. Following this, all teachers also participated in the aarti and offered flowers to Lord Shri Krishna. The Managing Director offered fruits and sweets to Lord Krishna, which were later distributed as prasad.

Students' Mesmerizing Performances

Students of the school presented a series of colorful cultural performances to mark Janmashtami. Children from Nursery to UKG enchanted the audience with a group dance dressed as Krishna and Radha, set to the song 'Are Re Meri Jaan Hai Radha'.

Students from Class 1 performed a beautiful group dance to the song 'Wo Hai Albela'. Class 5 girls showcased their talent with a performance to the song 'Kanha Barsane Mein Aa Jaiyo'. Students from Class 2 and 3 staged a short play based on the Sudama Charitra. Manas played the role of Sudama, and Sushant portrayed Shri Krishna, while Saif and Sami acted as doormen. This performance effectively highlighted the friendship between Shri Krishna and Sudama.

Students from Class 4 presented a short drama titled 'Shri Krishna Janmadivas', with Siddh, Swastika, Abhishek, Jiya, Niti, Akanksha, Saif, and Sami winning the audience's hearts with their acting. Children from Nursery to Class 5 participated in a fancy dress competition, adorning themselves as Radha-Krishna, Sudama, gopis, and doormen, adding a charming visual appeal to the event.

Divine Tableau and Dahi Handi Event

A beautifully decorated tableau of Shri Krishna and Radha was set up in the school auditorium, featuring Laddu Gopal being swung in a cradle. Additionally, a 'Dahi Handi' event was organized in the Kids Zone, where all students participated with great enthusiasm.

At the culmination of the Dahi Handi, Ram, dressed as Krishna, broke the pot, bringing cheers and celebrations. The Managing Director extended Janmashtami greetings to all students at the end of the program. Vice Principal Shikha Pandey and all the teachers also celebrated the festival joyously.
