Staying Loyal to the Baggy Green

Despite the temptation of massive earnings, Cummins and Head have chosen to continue representing Australia across formats. Their decision has reportedly reignited discussions about privatising the Big Bash League (BBL), Australia’s premier T20 competition, to attract private investments that could raise player salaries.

Sources suggest that Cricket Australia, state associations, and the Australian Cricketers’ Association have held informal talks on this potential shift, but no official announcements have been made yet.
