Surprise Inspection at Parashar Dairy
In anticipation of the upcoming festive season, a joint team of the district administration and the food department conducted an impromptu raid on Parashar Dairy, a well-known establishment in Guna city. The objective was to ensure the purity of food items and safeguard public health.
During the operation, samples of mawa, paneer, and mix cake, found in poor condition, were seized. These samples will be sent to a laboratory for further examination. The raid was led by Deputy Collector Devansh Shivhare, with Tehsildar Aarti Gautam also present.
Concerns Over Dairy Conditions and Seized Items
The dairy premises were found in a concerning state during the inspection, with mix cakes and other ingredients stored haphazardly on the floor, emitting an unpleasant odour. The administrative team immediately took action, sealing the suspected samples of mawa, paneer, and mix cake.
Tehsildar Aarti Gautam stated, "Strict action will be taken against those who compromise public health by adulterating food items. We have strictly instructed dairy operators to ensure the sale of quality and hygienic food products."
The administration has warned that surprise inspections and sample collection campaigns will continue across the district in view of the upcoming festivals, ensuring that only pure and safe food products reach consumers. This unexpected action has caused a stir among other food traders in the city.
