The PHF has requested the Asian Hockey Federation (AHF) to either host the tournament in another country or conduct all of Pakistan's matches at a neutral venue. The federation has cited security concerns and the current tense bilateral relations with India as the reasons behind this decision.

Pakistan's Demands and Concerns

The Pakistan Hockey Federation stated that its team is fully prepared to play against all international teams except India, but traveling to India is not considered safe for their players given the current circumstances.

Their primary demand is that the entire tournament be relocated to another secure country or, at the very least, a neutral venue be selected for all matches involving the Pakistani team.
