The Cliff News | Bhopal | July 22, 2026 The Madhya Pradesh State Agricultural Produce Marketing (Mandi) Board has gifted promotions to over 1400 of its officers and employees this July. These promotions, spanning more than 30 different cadres, were carried out through a transparent and well-organized process.
This decision has brought an atmosphere of joy and enthusiasm among employees who had been awaiting promotions for a long time. The extensive promotion drive includes key positions at various levels.
Details of the Comprehensive Promotion Drive
According to the orders, promotions have been granted for 2 Additional Director posts, 3 Joint Director posts, 6 Deputy Director posts, and 3 Assistant Director posts. Additionally, 30 Assistant Engineer positions have seen employees elevated.
Furthermore, employees have benefited from promotions in 61 Accountant (B) positions, 31 Senior Auditor positions, 11 Secretary (A) positions, 15 Secretary (B) positions, and 107 Secretary (C) positions. At the field level, 774 Mandi Inspector positions, 46 Assistant Grade-2 positions, and 18 Assistant Grade-3 positions have also been filled through promotions.

The promotion process and management were successfully completed under the able guidance and direction of Mandi Board's Managing Director-cum-Commissioner, Mr. Kumar Purushottam, based on the recommendations of the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC).
