Operation Muskaan: Madhya Pradesh Police Act Beyond State Borders

The Madhya Pradesh Police are demonstrating strong initiative in their search for missing and abducted minors under 'Operation Muskaan'. In August, through dedicated efforts, state police have expanded their operations beyond the state's borders, taking action in six different states and safely recovering 12 minor girls.

These rescued girls have now been reunited with their respective families. The police operations, characterized by sensitivity and technical expertise, involved police from districts including Ujjain, Dhar, Rajgarh, Chhatarpur, Katni, Singrauli, Sidhi, Anuppur, Indore, and Datia. These teams successfully brought the girls back safely, reaching states like Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, and Delhi.

Inter-State Rescues Highlight Police Diligence

The Nagda police in Ujjain district, utilizing technical evidence, not only recovered a missing minor girl from Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, approximately 2,000 kilometers away, but also arrested the accused. Similarly, Dhar police located a girl in Amreli, Gujarat, who was allegedly lured away and is a victim of rape; the accused has also been arrested.

Rajgarh police recovered an abducted girl from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, within just 72 hours and apprehended the perpetrator. Chhatarpur police, as part of Operation Muskaan, safely brought back two girls from Jodhpur and Jaipur in Rajasthan.

Katni police, in two separate cases, found minor girls in the Morvi area of Gujarat and Mumbai, Maharashtra, and handed them over to their families. Singrauli police, using technical evidence, safely recovered a 16-year-old girl from the Anpara region of Uttar Pradesh.

Following extensive efforts and collaboration with various states, Sidhi police located a 16-year-old girl who had been missing for nearly two months in the Pratapgarh district of Uttar Pradesh. This required technical evidence and persistent efforts. Additionally, Anuppur police recovered a 17-year-old girl from Gujarat, Indore police from Dwarka, Gujarat, and Datia police from the Kamla Market police station area in New Delhi, reuniting them with their families.

Commitment to Child Safety Transcends Borders

Throughout these operations, the Madhya Pradesh Police teams faced numerous challenges, including reaching locations in different states, coordinating with local police and relevant agencies, conducting thorough analysis of technical evidence, and gathering information on potential hideouts. These successes clearly demonstrate that the Madhya Pradesh Police do not limit their search for missing minors to the state's borders but are committed to reaching any corner of the country to ensure their safe return.
