Nykaa shares surge nearly 8% after strong Q2 profit growth

Shares of FSN E-Commerce Ventures Ltd, the parent company of Nykaa, rose nearly 8% on Monday after the beauty and fashion retailer reported a multifold jump in consolidated net profit to ₹34.4 crore for the September quarter.

On the BSE, Nykaa’s stock climbed 7.87% to ₹265.30, while on the NSE, it gained 7.86% to ₹265.20. The broader markets also traded higher, with the Sensex rising 482.65 points to 83,698.93 and the Nifty up 139.60 points to 25,631.90.

The company had posted a net profit of ₹10.04 crore in the same quarter last year. Revenue from operations grew 25.13% year-on-year to ₹2,345.98 crore, while the gross merchandise value (GMV) increased 30% to ₹4,744 crore, as per regulatory filings.

Nykaa Founder and CEO Falguni Nayar said the company’s performance reflects “accelerated growth momentum across categories.”

The company also announced the reappointment of Falguni Nayar as Executive Chairperson, Managing Director, and CEO for a five-year term from February 12, 2026, to February 11, 2031.

During the quarter, Nykaa expanded its offline presence by adding 19 new beauty stores, taking the total to 265 outlets across 90 cities.
