Connectivity and Accessibility

Subhash Goyal, Chairman of the Aviation and Tourism Committee of the Indian Chamber, highlighted the need for seamless connectivity between Delhi International Airport and Noida International Airport. He suggested:

• Hotels around the airport for stranded passengers

To improve access, the government is developing a 31-kilometre link road connecting the airport to the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. The 7-kilometre Noida section is already complete, providing direct access via the Yamuna Expressway. The remaining stretch is expected to be ready by 2027.

Last-Mile Connectivity

Until metro and direct bus services are available, passengers will primarily rely on cabs, bike taxis, and private vehicles for last-mile transportation. The airport has partnered with Mahindra Logistics Mobility and Rapido to provide electric taxis and bike taxis.

Emergency Preparedness

The health department has implemented an extensive emergency medical response plan, deploying over 60 ambulances and alerting multiple hospitals to ensure swift medical assistance during the inauguration event. Each ambulance is staffed with a doctor and a medical team.
