NITTTR Bhopal's Rajbhasha Cell held a felicitation ceremony to honor senior colleague Smt. Shobha Lekhwani for her significant contributions to promoting Hindi.

The Rajbhasha Cell of the National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR) in Bhopal recently organized a special felicitation ceremony to honor Smt. Shobha Lekhwani. The event recognized her substantial contributions towards the effective use and implementation of Hindi as the Institute's official language.
During the ceremony, Dr. C.C. Tripathi, Director of NITTTR Bhopal, lauded Smt. Lekhwani's dedicated service and active involvement in the Rajbhasha Cell's initiatives. He emphasized that while retirement marks a significant professional transition, an employee's commitment and the lasting memories of their contributions remain indelible.
Promoting Hindi Implementation
Dr. Tripathi specifically highlighted Smt. Lekhwani's instrumental role in fostering the use of Hindi across the institute. Her proactive participation in various Rajbhasha Cell activities was cited as a key factor in encouraging its widespread adoption in official proceedings. Her efforts were described as commendable, setting an inspiring example for her colleagues through her sincerity and dedication.
Dr. Pramod Kumar Purohit, Coordinator-Rajbhasha, echoed these sentiments, acknowledging Smt. Lekhwani's valuable input to the Official Language policy. He commended her consistent cooperation and active engagement in numerous Rajbhasha-related programs and activities organized by the cell.
Significant Contributions Recognized
As an active member of the Rajbhasha Cell, Smt. Lekhwani was instrumental in advancing the use of Hindi within NITTTR Bhopal. Her role in organizing and successfully executing various programs aimed at promoting the Official Language was greatly appreciated. Particular mention was made of her supportive and active participation during the inspection by the Parliamentary Committee on Official Language, underscoring the positive impact of her involvement.
The felicitation ceremony saw attendance from key figures within NITTTR Bhopal, including Prof. R.K. Dixit, Dean (Administration), and Major Nishant Kumar, Rajbhasha Officer. Members of the Rajbhasha Cell, along with other officers and staff members, were also present to celebrate Smt.
