Upon assuming office, SHO Rai immediately signaled a firm stance against illegal activities and anti-social elements. He emphasized that ensuring the safety of the general public and maintaining peace in the area would be his top priorities.

Crackdown on Illegal Activities Planned

The new SHO clarified his priorities, stating that anyone found involved in illegal activities such as gambling, illicit liquor trade, and illegal mining would face stringent action without prejudice. He assured that every complaint lodged at the police station would be taken seriously, and swift justice would be pursued.

“This area will not tolerate any form of illegal activity; we will deal with it with full force,” SHO Rai stated. He also urged anti-social elements to stay away from the region.

He further conveyed that the police are friends of the public and collaboration is expected. Information regarding crimes will be kept confidential, and the identity of informants will be protected.
