Bollywood actor Neha Dhupia is prioritizing wellness over aesthetics with a mindful approach to internal health, sharing positive results midway through her latest 21-day regimen.
At 45, Neha Dhupia is leading by example in the pursuit of holistic wellness. On Day 8 of her anti-inflammatory challenge, the actor revealed that while the journey started with a few adjustments, the benefits are already evident.
“Initially, I found the MCT oil a bit heavy,” Neha admitted, noting that her nutritionist, Richa Gangani, encouraged her to give it a few days to settle. “By Day 8, I noticed clearer skin, improved gut health, and more energy throughout the day.”
A Health-Focused Approach, Not a Diet
For Neha, the challenge is less about weight management and more about addressing inflammation—the underlying factor behind fatigue, puffiness, sluggish digestion, and dull skin. “This isn’t a diet,” she emphasized. “It’s anti-inflammatory. It works differently but delivers tangible results.”
Inside the 21-Day Anti-Inflammation Challenge
Designed by dietitian Richa Gangani, the regimen relies on simple, easily accessible ingredients from Indian kitchens. Each day begins with a potent anti-inflammatory drink composed of:
-
Raw turmeric
-
A cube of fresh ginger
-
5–7 black peppercorns
-
1 teaspoon of nigella seeds (kalonji)
These ingredients are blended with water and frozen into ice cubes for convenience. Each morning, one cube is dissolved in hot water and mixed with a teaspoon of MCT oil—or alternatives like ghee, coconut oil, or olive oil—for a nutrient-rich start to the day.
Why It Works
The combination of turmeric and ginger provides curcumin and gingerol, compounds known for their anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Black pepper enhances absorption, while nigella seeds contribute to immune support. MCT oil boosts energy levels and promotes gut health. Together, the ritual aims to reduce internal inflammation, aid digestion, and rejuvenate the skin.
A Practice Built on Consistency
Unlike fad diets or quick cleanses, this 21-day ritual emphasizes routine and intentionality. Neha describes the results as noticeable and “quite magical,” with improvements felt across the body, whether under the eyes or elsewhere.
“This challenge encourages you to show up for your body every morning,” she said, “and the benefits, though subtle at first, accumulate beautifully.”
