National Children's Science Congress: Online Registration Training for Teachers in Damoh

Workshop Organised for Online Project Registration

Damoh | August 10, 2026. A significant workshop was organized in Damoh district concerning the online registration of projects under the National Children's Science Congress. The training session, held on Monday in the computer room of Utkrisht Vidyalaya, provided detailed explanations to the district's science teachers on the project registration process.

The primary objective of the workshop was to facilitate the online registration of projects by students participating in the Children's Science Congress. During the training, teachers were also instructed on the method for uploading various activities conducted in schools under initiatives like Inspire Award Standard, Children's Science Congress, and 'One Tree in Mother's Name 3.0' Eco Club onto the relevant portals. This initiative aims to foster scientific thinking and provide students with an opportunity to showcase their talent.

Registration Deadline Set for August 15th

District Education Officer Satyamev Chaurasia has issued clear directives to all principals. He stated that the online registration of projects under the Children's Science Congress is mandatory and must be completed by August 15th. No online registrations will be accepted after this date, emphasizing the need for teachers to be mindful of the timeline and complete the process promptly.

The District Education Officer further explained that during the registration process, science teachers must categorize students into age groups of 10-14 years and 14-17 years. Teams of two students from each group will then register their projects, ensuring fair competition based on age categories.

Expert Training Provided at the Workshop

During the workshop, District Coordinator Mohan Rai, Academic Coordinators Bahadur Singh Thakur, and Hirdayesh Parihar delivered intensive training to teachers on the online registration process and uploading related activities. They also addressed teachers' queries and provided guidance on overcoming any technical challenges.

The important workshop saw enthusiastic participation from numerous science teachers of the district, including Block Education Officer Mukesh Gujare, Principals Narpal Singh Thakur, Ram Prakash Shukla, Manisha Jain, Munni Thakur, Anju Ahirwar, Rakesh Paroha, Kamlesh Jain, Sangeeta Dubey, Nirasha Gupta, and Ranjeet Ahirwar. This training is expected to enable a larger number of students from Damoh district to showcase their projects at the National Children's Science Congress.
