Health Camp Conducted Under National Child Health Programme

A significant health camp was organized on Wednesday in the Ajner area of Mahoba district, Uttar Pradesh, as part of the National Child Health Programme (RBSK). A total of 102 children underwent health examinations at camps held at Tikariya Secondary School and an Anganwadi center.

The initiative aimed to provide early health diagnostics and essential consultations for children. The camps were conducted under the directives of Chief Medical Officer Dr. Vinay Kumar. The oversight of this operation was managed by DEIC Manager Dr. Ambuj Gupta and CHC Jaitpur Superintendent Dr. PK Singh.

Comprehensive Health Examinations for Children

A team of doctors conducted physical examinations on 48 children from the school and 54 children from the Anganwadi center. During these examinations, children's general health was assessed, and they received necessary health-related advice.

Detailed health investigations were carried out by Dr. PN Sharma and Dr. Amit Gangele, who meticulously examined the children's health. Health workers, including FHW Sangeeta, also played a crucial role in this process. Representatives from local educational institutions, such as Principal Maheshwariy Yadav, and Anganwadi workers like Neetu, contributed to the success of the camp.

Objective of the National Child Health Programme

The National Child Health Programme aims to detect and ensure treatment for congenital disabilities, illnesses, developmental delays, and disabilities in children aged 0 to 18 years at an early stage. Such camps are organized at regular intervals to promote the healthy development of children and manage any serious health issues in their initial phases.
