Narsinghpur | October 15, 2026 | The 'Kaya Garba 6.0' festival, organized by Kaya International Yoga Studio, concluded with immense enthusiasm and devotion in Narsinghpur. This event, active since 2018 in promoting health, yoga, and Indian culture, served as a focal point for honoring womanhood and worshipping the Navdurga.
Under the guidance of Ms. Indu Singh, Founder of Kaya International Yoga Studio, the festival celebrated the confidence of woman power. The ceremony commenced with a Vedic pooja of Maa Ambe, the lighting of lamps, and a collective Maha Aarti performed by esteemed guests of the city. Juhi Singh and Yashita Kaushik enhanced the devotional atmosphere with classical dance renditions praising the Goddess.
Recognizing Remarkable Women
The stage of Kaya Garba 6.0 became a platform to honor several women for their significant contributions to social service and various other fields. Prominent among those recognized were Mrs. Aarti Mansata, Mrs. Swati Jaiswal, Mrs. Sandhya Kothari, Mrs. Sarla Pandey, Mrs. Nisha Soni, Mrs. Sushma Mishra, Mrs. Bharti Kaurav, Mrs. Neera Budholiya, Mrs. Aruna Dubey, Anisha Prajapati, and Mrs. Neeta Dhimole. Guests lauded their work and presented them with mementos.
Themed Garba Performances Steal the Show
The most captivating element of the festival was the series of themed Garba performances, which mesmerized the audience. The Super Women Group presented an energetic Kartal Raas, receiving widespread acclaim. Following this, Aabha Nema and her collaborators added vibrancy to the event with a balanced Thaal Raas. Arti Singh, Ranu Srivastava, and their team showcased their artistic prowess with a dazzling performance on the Dhafli Raas. The Kaya family group astonished everyone with a daring Mashaal Raas presentation.
All these performances were directed by renowned choreographer Aastha Lakhera. After each presentation, guests and the audience showered praise on the participants' discipline and performance quality. The program concluded with all participants joining in a collective Maha-Garba. Organizers presented mementos and gifts to all participants.
