Investigation Initiated After Complaint Filed
The case came to light on May 28, 2025, when a complainant reported the theft of their SP Shine motorcycle, registration number MP39 MT 4873, at the Narsinghgarh police station. A case was registered under Section 303(2) BNS (part of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, potentially corresponding to earlier IPC sections like 379) as crime number 263/25, and an investigation commenced.
Technical Investigation and CCTV Footage Yield Results
Taking the vehicle theft seriously, a special team from Narsinghgarh Police Station actively gathered clues. A thorough analysis of technical data and CCTV footage related to the incident provided crucial information about a suspect, directing the investigation effectively.
Leadership Directs Focus on Law and Order
Under the directives of newly appointed Superintendent of Police, Amit Tolani (IPS), the district is emphasizing strengthened law and order and sensitive handling of property and vehicle theft cases. This operation was conducted under the guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police Rajgarh, K.L. Banjare, and Sub-Divisional Officer of Police Narsinghgarh, Neha Gaur.
Accused Identified and Motorcycle Recovered
Following initial investigation and identification of suspects, police detained Rahul s/o Bane Singh Bhil, aged 18, resident of Govindpura, Police Station Maksudangarh, District Guna, based on suspicion. During intensive questioning, the accused confessed to his involvement in the vehicle theft. Following the accused's disclosure, the stolen SP Shine motorcycle (MP39 MT 4873) was successfully recovered and seized.
Legal Proceedings Underway
The police are currently undertaking the necessary legal proceedings against the accused. The recovery of the stolen vehicle marks a significant success for the Narsinghgarh Police.
