Members of Nagar Suraksha Samiti Honored

In a significant event held in Narsinghgarh, Madhya Pradesh, the members of the Nagar Suraksha Samiti were felicitated for their dedicated and selfless service to the community. The ceremony took place at the Ganesh Mandir premises in Ganesh Chowk on Saturday, where 40 committed members received their official identity cards.

The local Station House Officer, Gunja Solanki, was present and lauded the committee members for their tireless efforts and valuable contributions to societal well-being. This committee, actively serving since 1998, plays a crucial role in maintaining public safety and order in Narsinghgarh. It currently comprises 17 young women and 23 young men who volunteer their time and labor to bolster security during festivals, public events, and other significant occasions without any remuneration.

Call for Encouragement and Recognition

During the event, Dilip Goswami, the President of the Nagar Suraksha Samiti, highlighted the selfless nature of the members' work. He appealed to the government and administration, stating that even if financial aid is not possible, regular encouragement is vital to maintain the morale of the members. Goswami emphasized that the committee operates entirely on a voluntary basis, prioritizing the town's welfare for years without receiving any compensation.

Journalists Also Honored

Alongside the identity card distribution, local journalists were also honored with garlands for their significant role in disseminating information and fostering awareness within the community. At the conclusion of the program, all committee members reaffirmed their commitment to fulfilling their social responsibilities and continuing to provide full support to Narsinghgarh's security arrangements in the future. The event concluded in a positive and cordial atmosphere, fostering a sense of public respect and gratitude towards the committee members, who consider their spirit of service their greatest achievement.
