Narsinghgarh Hosts 12th Phalahar Langer, Devotees Partake in 'Annapurna' and 'Shiva' Prasad

Grand Phalahar Langer Held in Narsinghgarh

On the final Monday of the Sawan month in Narsinghgarh, Madhya Pradesh, a grand event was organized by the social organization Omkar Seva Mandal. The 12th annual Phalahar Langer was distributed among devotees at Omkar Chowk on Balbatpura Road, where attendees partook in the blessed food with devotion.

Spiritual Preludes and Devotional Performances

The day prior to the Langer, a Bhajan Nisha (night of devotional songs) was held on Sunday night. Organized jointly by Omkar Seva Mandal and the music organization Sur Sargam, this devotional evening featured artists presenting hymns dedicated to Lord Shiva and other deities, filling the atmosphere with spirituality.

'Annapurna' and 'Shiva' Idols Grace Prasad Distribution

Special arrangements for Phalahar were made for devotees visiting the city's Shiv temples, with prasad offered before idols of 'Annapurna' and 'Shiva'. The Langer commenced at 10 AM with prayers and Aarti to the deities. During the event, captivating idols of Goddess Annapurna and Lord Shiva, created by local artist O.P. Chauhan, were worshipped.

Esteemed Guests and Community Effort

Following the worship, the distribution of Phalahar to devotees began. Key attendees included Pandit Praful Maharaj, manager of Shri Sadguru Ashram, and Dr. Gaurav Tripathi, superintendent of Maharaja Mehtab Civil Hospital. They lauded the efforts of the Seva Mandal members for their contribution to the event's success. The members of Omkar Seva Mandal played a significant role in uniting to make this Langer a grand success.
