Narsinghgarh Hosts 11th Grand Langer Featuring 56 Delicacies, Lord Shiva's Family Tableau Steals the Show

Grand Langer Celebrates Sawan's Third Monday

Narsinghgarh's Sanjay Nagar on Bhopal Road is hosting a grand and massive Langer on the auspicious occasion of the third Monday of the Sawan month. This event has been continuously organized for the past 11 years, and for its 11th edition this year, special arrangements have been made to deepen the faith of devotees.

Unique Arrangements for Devotees

A key feature of this year's Langer is a large waterproof pandal, erected keeping the monsoon season in mind to shield devotees from the weather. As with every year, Prasad (blessed food) will be distributed. To make the 11th event special, Lord Shiva will be offered '56 Bhog' (56 types of delicacies), which will later be distributed among the devotees.

Spectacular Maha Aarti and Shiva-Parivar Tableau

A grand Maha Aarti will be held at 12:30 PM, serving as the focal point of this religious ritual. The tableau this year has been specially crafted, depicting Lord Shiva riding Nandi along with his entire family. This lifelike and captivating tableau is considered the main attraction of the event, expected to mesmerize the devotees.

Spiritual Blessings and Dedicated Service

To bring mental peace and well-being to all attending devotees, a special 'Ashtagandha' tilak will be applied to their foreheads, offering a unique experience to their faith. The 'Barfani Seva Dal' has taken complete charge of serving the Kanwariyas and Shiva devotees arriving from far-off places. All volunteers from the Dal will be present at the venue from 8 AM onwards, ensuring the provision of refreshments, Prasad distribution, and all other necessary facilities to prevent any inconvenience to the devotees.

The organizers have appealed to all religious-minded individuals from the town and surrounding areas to participate in this grand event, earn merit, and partake in the Maha Prasad. This Langer serves not only as a religious observance but also as an important medium for community bonding.
