Patriotic Tricolour Rally Held in Narmadapuram
To commemorate Independence Day, the Narmada Anchal Patrakar Sangh organized a grand tricolour rally in Narmadapuram city. The objective of this rally was to spread the spirit of national unity, integrity, and patriotism to every citizen.
The procession commenced from the Journalist Bhavan located at People Chowk in Kothi Bazar. It saw enthusiastic participation from journalists, representatives of social organizations, students, and other citizens of the city. Holding the national flag, all participants marched forward chanting patriotic slogans, creating an atmosphere of national pride across the city.
This event was organized to underscore the significance of Independence Day and promote national pride, with people from various sections of society coming together to participate.
Chief Guest Emphasizes National Unity
Member of Parliament, Maya Narolia, was the chief guest at this tricolour rally. In her address, she stated that the tricolour rally is not merely an event but a living symbol of the nation's unity, integrity, and patriotism. She emphasized that the tricolour represents the pride, honour, and glory of our country.
She added that it is the result of the incomparable sacrifice and martyrdom of freedom fighters, through which we attained independence.
MP Narolia stressed the responsibility of every citizen, stating that it is our duty to prioritize national unity, integrity, and respect. She particularly highlighted the critical need to impart awareness of national duties to future generations.
Journalism's Contribution to Nation Building
Describing journalism as a crucial pillar of democracy, Maya Narolia noted that journalists play a vital role in creating societal awareness and effectively disseminating nationally relevant issues to the public. She lauded the role of journalists and underscored their responsibility towards society.
According to her, journalists not only disseminate information but also actively contribute to nation-building. Exposing societal problems and encouraging discussions on national development issues are key aspects of journalism that help steer the country towards progress.
National Festivals: A Reminder of Duties
During the program, Deputy Collector Anil Jain shed light on the importance of national festivals, stating that these occasions are not just for celebration but also serve as a reminder of our duties and responsibilities towards the country. He described the tricolour as a symbol of unity, discipline, and brotherhood.
Deputy Collector Jain viewed the participation of youth and students in this rally as an expression of strong patriotism among the new generation. He believes that the involvement of youth ensures that the spirit of patriotism is passed down from generation to generation.
Former Tehsildar and Land Records Officer Sarita Malviya stated that respecting the national flag is the primary duty of every citizen. She emphasized that active contribution from every segment of society is essential for the nation's progress, which is only possible when each citizen is conscious of their duties.

The rally concluded with the singing of the national anthem, 'Jana Gana Mana', which further deepened the sense of respect and connection towards the nation among all attendees.
