Narmadapuram-Timarni Road Construction Urged to Accelerate; Collector Reviews Progress

In a move to strengthen infrastructure within the Narmadapuram district, Collector Somesh Mishra chaired a high-level review meeting on Wednesday. The primary focus of the discussion was the preparations for the construction of the Narmadapuram-Siwani Malwa-Timarni road.

Construction Timelines Emphasized

The Collector issued clear directives to officials from the Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation (MPRDC), instructing them to complete all departmental procedures related to road construction within the stipulated timelines. During the meeting, the Collector specifically ordered that pending processes, including land acquisition and those under Section 21, be resolved on a priority basis. He stressed that any unnecessary delays in road construction would not be tolerated, with administrative clarity stating that bringing the project to fruition on schedule is paramount.

Inter-departmental Coordination Critical

Collector Mishra directed officials to establish better coordination with relevant departments such as Revenue, Forest, and Mines. Instructions were given to immediately complete all types of documentation, along with the installation of boundary markers. He stated that mutual coordination between these departments is essential for the smooth progress of the road construction process.

Regional Development and Connectivity to Improve

This significant road is being developed, connecting Narmadapuram to Dolariya and Siwani Malwa, ultimately reaching Timarni. Upon project completion, residents of the region will benefit from accessible and modern transportation facilities. The road will not only significantly reduce travel time but also play a crucial role in strengthening the region's transport system. The Collector urged all concerned officials to accelerate the work through collective efforts so that construction can commence soon.
