Narmadapuram Municipal President Inspects Under-Construction Road in Ward 32, Expresses Displeasure

Inspection Reveals Significant Delays

Narmadapuram: Today, Municipal President Neetu Mahendra Yadav inspected an under-construction road in Ward No. 32 of Narmadapuram city. During the inspection, she expressed deep dissatisfaction with the construction agency due to excessive delays in the work.

President Yadav issued clear directives to the agency to complete the road construction within the stipulated time frame. This is to ensure prompt relief for local citizens regarding their commute. Assistant Engineer Mukesh Jain informed that Municipal President Yadav also instructed the preparation of an estimate for a new road near the cemetery in Ward 32. This approved road is slated to be built from Khojanpur to Bijasen Mata Chabutra.

Concerns Over Construction Delays

According to Assistant Engineer Jain, the construction agency is intentionally delaying the work on this crucial road. He stated that once the road is completed, residents of the area will be relieved from the commuting difficulties they are currently facing.

The Municipal administration has issued directives to the construction agency to commence work immediately and complete it on a war footing. During the inspection, Municipal President Neetu Mahendra Yadav reviewed the current status of the road and also paid attention to the quality of construction. She clarified that any negligence in the city's development works will not be tolerated.

This road construction work has been pending for several months, causing significant inconvenience to local residents. Particularly during the monsoon season, the problems of mud and waterlogging become severe, making it difficult even for small vehicles to pass. Residents of Ward 32 have also expressed their concerns regarding this matter.

The local councilor had also appealed to the Municipal President for an early resolution of this issue. Citizens have stated that the slow pace of road construction has also increased the risk of accidents. Commuting is particularly difficult for schoolchildren and the elderly.

Directives Issued for New Road Estimate

Assistant Engineer Mukesh Jain also reported that the Municipal President has issued instructions to prepare an estimate (estimated cost) for the construction of a new road near the cemetery in Ward 32. The need for this new road is felt because there is currently no easy access route available in that area.

This road will also prove important for accessing the cemetery, facilitating people arriving for rituals such as funerals. The construction of this approved road is to take place from Khojanpur to Bijasen Mata Chabutra. The completion of this project will not only benefit local residents but also contribute to the overall development of the area.

The Municipal administration has clarified that all approved development projects must be completed on time and with quality. Construction agencies have been strictly warned to perform their duties with seriousness. Citizens are hopeful for prompt relief.
