NARMADAPURAM | September 8, 2026 - A significant meeting of the 'Namo Narmada Seva Path Abhiyan' was organized in Narmadapuram with a resolute commitment to maintaining the purity, uninterrupted flow, and spiritual sanctity of the life-giving, sacred Maa Narmada river.

The meeting, presided over by the revered Param Pujya Dadaguru Maharaj, saw the participation of various public representatives, administrative officials, and environmental enthusiasts. Rajya Sabha MP from Madhya Pradesh, Maya Narolia, highlighted the importance of Maa Narmada, stating it is not just a center of faith but an eternal cornerstone of Sanatan culture, social life, and identity.

She emphasized that the conservation of the holy banks of Maa Reva and environmental enrichment is a moral and spiritual responsibility of every citizen. Narolia further elaborated on the extensive tree plantation program planned under the 'Namo Narmada Seva Path Abhiyan' in Village Kadhaiya, Sohagpur Assembly constituency, assuring full public participation and cooperation for this initiative.

Discussions also centered on the necessity of robust arrangements, including water tankers, for the long-term conservation and regular irrigation of the planted saplings to ensure the success of this green endeavor. During the review of the campaign's action plan, special attention was given to transforming Maa Narmada's cleanliness, beautification of ghats, and water conservation efforts into a widespread public movement.

The importance of increasing youth and rural public participation was also underlined in the meeting.
