Expansion of Sports Facilities in Narmadapuram: Land Allocated in Pathrota, Barakhalakalan
The administration in Narmadapuram district has completed land transfer processes in two key villages with the aim of promoting sports activities and providing better facilities for the youth. This initiative will pave the way for the development of sports infrastructure in Pathrota village, Tehsil Itarsi, and Barakhalakalan village, Tehsil Seoni Malwa.
Under the direction of Collector and District Magistrate Somesh Mishra, pending allocation files for the Sports and Youth Welfare Department were expedited. As a result, 0.405 hectares of land have been registered in the name of the Sports and Youth Welfare Department in Pathrota village.
Construction of Modern Indoor Hall and Sports Complex
A modern indoor hall and sports complex will be constructed on this land in Pathrota, offering advanced training facilities to the region's athletes. This development is expected to significantly enhance the sports ecosystem for local youth.
Rural Sports Ground and Stadium Construction
In Barakhalakalan village, Tehsil Seoni Malwa, 4.046 hectares of land have been allocated for the construction of a sports ground and stadium. This extensive area will provide local youth with opportunities to practice various sports and hone their talents.
The administration believes that the construction of these new sports infrastructures will provide better practice opportunities for local youth, offering a platform for budding sports talent and strengthening the sports culture in the region. The Sports and Youth Welfare Department is now proceeding with the next steps to commence construction work on the allocated lands.
