Narmadapuram Municipality took action during Sawan month, seizing carts to improve city traffic and facilitate pilgrim movement.

Traffic Improvement Drive in Narmadapuram During Sawan Month
The Narmadapuram Municipality has taken a significant step to ensure smooth traffic flow in the city during the auspicious occasion of the Sawan month. On Monday, the municipality's anti-encroachment team took action in various sensitive areas of the city, removing carts obstructing traffic and seizing two such carts.
The primary objective of this initiative is to facilitate movement for devotees and the general public. The municipality's team specifically targeted carts in areas like Satrasta, Gwaltoli Puliya, and around the old police station that were encroaching on the road and causing traffic obstruction. Prior warnings had been issued to the concerned vendors on multiple occasions, but this action was taken due to a lack of improvement in the situation.
Operation Under Civic Leadership
Under the guidance of Napa Adhyaksh (Municipality President) Neetu Mahendra Yadav and Chief Municipal Officer Vaibhav Deshmukh, members of the anti-encroachment squad, including Sheikh Shikander, Sheikh Akbar, Brajesh Sarvan, Kailash Kannojia, Nitesh Gaur, and Satish Raghuwanshi, carried out this campaign to ease traffic congestion.
Sheikh Shikander stated that two carts were seized during the action on Monday. This action was taken considering the increased crowd during the Sawan month to prevent any form of disorganization.
Appeal for Cooperation
Narmadapuram Municipality President Neetu Mahendra Yadav appealed to the citizens, fruit vendors, and vegetable vendors of the city, stating that Sawan month is a holy festival during which devotees visit the city. She urged everyone to use only the designated places for their businesses and cooperate with the municipality in facilitating smooth traffic.
This cooperation will not only enhance the city's image but also provide convenience to the general public.
