Ganesh Visarjan Concludes in Narmadapuram: Devotees Applaud Administrative Arrangements

The ten-day Ganesh Utsav concluded in Narmadapuram with devotion and enthusiasm on September 25, 2026. Devotees bid an emotional farewell to the idols of Ganpati Bappa with chants of 'We'll see you again next year, come soon'.

The district administration, police, and municipality collaborated to create extensive arrangements, ensuring a smooth and safe immersion process, which was highly appreciated by citizens. The immersion of idols continued from morning until late evening in artificial ponds created at the Herbal Park Ghat.

According to the administration, over a thousand small and large Ganesh idols were immersed in the water during this period. Police personnel were deployed at immersion sites for security and traffic management, while municipal employees were responsible for the cleanliness and lighting of the ghats.

Convenience from New Changes at Immersion Site

Significant changes made to the immersion arrangements this year provided considerable relief to devotees. Last year, space constraints within the Herbal Park due to the artificial ponds caused hindrances in vehicle movement.

This year, the municipality constructed the ponds at a lower level, expanding the immersion site's area. The increased space significantly eased the process of worship and immersion for devotees. An administrative team remained available near the artificial ponds until late at night to assist devotees, ensuring they faced no inconvenience.

Citizens expressed satisfaction with the commendable arrangements made by the administration. The immersion of Ganpati Bappa's idols continued late into the night, with a large number of local residents participating.
