According to reports, including a detailed update from Deccan Chronicle, the Tollywood icon has agreed to adjust nearly ₹20 crore from his remuneration to help the producers clear pending dues and resolve financial bottlenecks. This decisive move is believed to have helped stabilise the project during a critical phase.

Legal Issues Nearing Resolution

The film’s delay is also linked to an ongoing petition at the Madras High Court. Sources indicate that legal discussions are now in their final stage. Additionally, a TDP Member of Parliament has reportedly stepped forward to provide financial support to the production house, ensuring that remaining expenses can be settled without further strain.

New Release Date Likely for Christmas Weekend

The makers initially considered December 12 as a revised release date. However, the arrival of James Cameron’s Hollywood blockbuster Avatar: Fire and Ash on December 19 forced another reconsideration.

Industry reports now suggest that December 25 — Christmas Day — is emerging as the most favorable window for the film’s worldwide release, leveraging the holiday season’s strong box-office potential.
