Meeting Held for 'Namami Devi Narmade Sanskar Kavadi Yatra'

Narmadapuram: A significant meeting was convened at the Narmadapuram Municipal Council office on Wednesday, presided over by Municipal President Neetu Mahendra Yadav. The primary agenda was to ensure special sanitation measures and adequate arrangements for the 'Namami Devi Narmade Sanskar Kavadi Yatra' scheduled to take place in the city on August 22, Saturday.

Spiritual and Environmental Objectives

The objective of this procession is not only to spread spirituality but also to deliver a strong message of environmental protection. The meeting saw participation from prominent figures including Bharatiya Janata Party leader Hans Rai, Mahendra Yadav, Nagar Mandal President Sagar Shivhare, along with several dignitaries and social workers.

Social Workers Offer Suggestions

Participating social workers presented their valuable ideas for the successful organization of the Kavadi Yatra and the fulfillment of its objectives. They offered various suggestions for cleanliness and the convenience of devotees, which were given serious consideration.

Emphasis on Cleanliness and Arrangements

Municipal President Neetu Mahendra Yadav instructed all members present to maintain special cleanliness along the route of the Kavadi Yatra. She also directed municipal officials to ensure the provision of sufficient water, temporary toilets, and first-aid facilities during the procession.

Measures will be taken to ensure that devotees participating in the Yatra do not face any inconvenience. Mrs. Yadav urged all devotees to participate enthusiastically in the 'Namami Devi Narmade Sanskar Kavadi Yatra'.

"This Kavadi Yatra offers us an opportunity to express our respect for our holy river Narmada and to fulfill our responsibility towards its conservation. It will convey a message of environmental protection alongside spirituality, hence everyone's participation is extremely important."

She expressed hope that this Yatra will prove to be a milestone in making city dwellers aware of cleanliness and the environment.
