In an initiative promoting equality and familial bonds, Dr. Dhirendra Pratap Singh ‘Dhiru’, President of the Adarsh Municipal Council of Balrampur, celebrated the auspicious festival of Raksha Bandhan with the municipality's female employees. This unique event saw female staff members tying rakhis on the Municipal President's wrist for the first time, conveying their festive greetings.

Gifts and Expressions of Respect

On this special occasion, Dr. Dhirendra Pratap Singh presented all female employees with cash, sweets, and sarees as gifts. He expressed his views, stating that Raksha Bandhan signifies more than just brother-sister love; it also symbolizes mutual trust, respect, security, and social harmony.

“The contribution of every employee in the municipal family is extremely important in the development of the city and in providing better facilities to the citizens,” Dr. Singh emphasized.

He particularly lauded the female employees for their dedicated service, noting their unwavering commitment to their responsibilities. Such events, he added, not only enhance their respect but also boost their morale, strengthening mutual relationships.
