MP Entrepreneurs Fly to Mumbai for Industry Advancement

As part of the Indian government's Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) scheme, a delegation of 25 Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSME) entrepreneurs from Madhya Pradesh departed for Mumbai on Saturday. The group will participate in the upcoming 'Mumbai Wood 2026' and 'Index Plus' exhibitions.

At the Raja Bhoj International Airport in Bhopal, MP Alok Sharma bid farewell to the entrepreneurs, presenting them with floral garlands and encouraging them to deeply study modern machinery and new technologies. He emphasized the central government's commitment under Prime Minister Narendra Modi to continuously empower the MSME sector.

“Through the RAMP scheme, crucial opportunities such as market expansion, credit facilities, capacity building, skill development, and technological upgrades are being provided to entrepreneurs,” stated MP Alok Sharma. “I urge the entrepreneurs present to fully leverage this exposure visit to Mumbai. Diligently study the modern machinery, innovative technologies, designs, and advanced production processes displayed there, and strive to implement them in Madhya Pradesh’s industries.”

Boosting Industries with Modern Technology

The objective of this initiative is not only to make entrepreneurs aware of technological advancements but also to channel the benefits of these modern technologies to the state's industries. The adoption of new technologies and innovative ideas will enable the production of high-quality, modern, and competitive products within the state, leading to accelerated industrial growth and increased employment opportunities.

It is anticipated that Madhya Pradesh's MSMEs will succeed in establishing a strong presence in both national and international markets. The exhibitions in Mumbai will provide entrepreneurs with comprehensive insights into woodworking, furniture, modern machinery, product innovation, and technological development, serving as a significant opportunity for business expansion.

Siddharth Khare, General Manager of the District Trade and Industries Centre, along with other departmental officials, was also present at the event. MP Sharma expressed confidence that this visit will be highly inspirational for the entrepreneurs and will lead to positive changes in the state's industrial landscape in the future.
