Mother of SP State Secretary Manoj Mishra Passes Away; Leaders Gather for Funeral

Munni Devi, mother of Samajwadi Party State Secretary and representative District Panchayat member Manoj Mishra, passed away suddenly late Sunday night. The 70-year-old had been ill for three days and was on a ventilator at a private city hospital.

She breathed her last around 11 PM on Sunday, sending a wave of grief through her family and impacting the Shamshabad area. Her mortal remains were taken to her ancestral village, Bela Sarai Gaja, for final viewing. From Monday morning, a large number of people from the region and across the district began arriving at the village to pay their respects.

Political Figures Attend Funeral

Prominent leaders, public representatives, and workers from various political parties visited the grieving family to offer their condolences and stand by them in this hour of sorrow. The funeral of Munni Devi was conducted with full rites and state honors on Monday at the Bela Sarai Gaja Ghat.

Several key leaders from the Samajwadi Party were present, including former District President Nadeem Ahmed Farooqi, State Secretary Mandeep Yadav, former MLA Urmila Rajput, former Minister Sarvesh Ambedkar, former Minister Ram Sevak Yadav, and Yashvir Arya. Other SP leaders who joined to pay tribute included Bhola Yadav, Vinay Yadav, Honey Yadav, and Ramsharan Kathearia.

Tributes were also offered by the Bharatiya Janata Party. BJP leader Kunwar Jeet Singh attended the funeral and expressed respect for the departed soul. Former Chairman of Farrukhabad, Vijay Gupta, and other respected local dignitaries also participated, offering support to the bereaved family.

All leaders present met personally with Manoj Mishra and his family, praying for the peace of the departed soul and wishing the grieving family strength and fortitude during this difficult time. The event also symbolized political and social unity in the region, as leaders from different parties came together on a somber occasion.
