Mother Accused of Aiding Lover in Raping Daughter After Being Caught in Compromising Position

Shocking Allegations in Siddharthnagar

The Cliff News | Siddharthnagar | August 14, 2026 A disturbing case has emerged from the Misrauliya police station area in Uttar Pradesh's Siddharthnagar district, where a mother stands accused of complicity in the rape of her own 13-year-old daughter. Following a complaint filed by the victim's father, the police have registered an FIR and initiated an investigation.

Incident Details Emerge

The alleged incident occurred on the evening of June 26th in a village under the Misrauliya police station limits. According to the police complaint, the accused woman had sent her minor daughter to a shop on an errand. During this time, she allegedly invited a known youth, identified as Tasavvur, to her home. Upon returning from the shop some time later, the teenager reportedly discovered her mother and the youth in a compromising position.

Fear of Exposure Drives Further Allegations

According to the complaint, the woman became fearful that her actions would be revealed if her daughter informed her father. It is alleged that driven by this fear, the mother incited her lover to sexually assault her daughter and subsequently aided in the commission of the crime. The family states that after the incident, the minor narrated her ordeal, prompting the father to approach the police.

Legal Action Initiated After Court Intervention

Alleging a lack of prompt action from the police, the victim's father sought recourse through the courts. Following a court order, the police have registered an FIR against the involved parties, including the mother and the youth Tasavvur, under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the POCSO Act. The police are currently conducting a thorough investigation into the matter, considering the circumstances, the victim's statement, and available evidence. Confirmation of the allegations will be determined upon completion of the investigation. In accordance with the law, the identity of the minor victim of sexual assault is being kept confidential.
