Mohanlal Joins Jailer 2 Shoot Immediately After Drishyam 3 Wrap

Malayalam superstar Mohanlal has officially joined the set of Jailer 2, following the completion of his work on Jeethu Joseph’s Drishyam 3. The actor’s arrival was confirmed by designer Jishad Shamsudheen, who shared a selfie with Mohanlal from their flight on Instagram, captioned simply: “Off to J2”. Mohanlal sported a crisp white shirt for his airport look, adding to the excitement among fans.

Fans quickly flooded the comments, expressing anticipation for the actor’s iconic style in the film. One fan wrote, “Jishad bro, expecting a lit costume from the real OG.”

Returning Cast and Production Details

Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, Jailer 2 sees Rajinikanth reprising his role as Tiger Muthuvel Pandian, with Ramya Krishnan returning as his on-screen wife. The production team has also roped in several notable talents, including the return of Shiva Rajkumar, who had a cameo in the first installment, and confirmed actor Vinayakan.

There are also reports that Vijay Sethupathi might appear in a cameo, adding further buzz around the film’s star-studded cast.
