Mobile Court Effectively Resolves Land Dispute in Guna

The Mobile Court system, an innovative initiative by Guna Collector Kishor Kumar Kanyal, has emerged as an effective mechanism for the swift resolution of land-related disputes. Demonstrating its efficacy, on October 23, 2026, a joint team of revenue and police officials visited Village Kushmauda, successfully resolving a long-standing land dispute and restoring possession of legal land to the applicant, Shama Sharma.

Land Dispute Resolution on Site

Local resident Shama Sharma, wife of Naval Kishore Sharma, had lodged a complaint with the administration concerning her rights and possession over a plot linked to survey number 255. This complaint pertained to a protracted land dispute for which she sought immediate intervention.

Given the sensitivity of the matter, a special joint team was constituted under the Collector's directive. This team comprised senior officials including Tehsildar Shalini Bhargav, Tehsildar Mayank Tiwari, Cantt Police Station in-charge Anup Bhargav, Naib Tehsildar Narendra Yadav, and Naib Tehsildar Arti Gautam. Additionally, revenue inspectors and patwaris were part of the team.

Possession Restored to Applicant

The officials visited the disputed site in Village Kushmauda and meticulously demarcated the land. With excellent coordination between the revenue and police departments, the land was inspected according to regulations in the presence of all concerned parties. Following the site inspection and completion of all formalities, the team officially handed over the possession of the allocated land to the applicant, Shama Sharma.

Citizen Relief and Effective Administration

This prompt and impartial action by the administration has provided significant relief to applicant Shama Sharma, resolving her longstanding issue. The incident highlights the effectiveness of the mobile court system, initiated by the Collector, in addressing the growing number of land disputes in rural areas.

This initiative not only expedites the justice process but also enhances public trust in the government machinery. The district administration's effort marks a crucial step towards making justice more accessible to ordinary citizens.
