Urgent Relief for Those Affected by Heavy Rainfall: Legislative Council Member Meets Commissioner

In this hour of disaster, Legislative Council Member (MLC) Jitendra Singh Sengar contacted the Divisional Commissioner of the Chitrakoot Dham division via phone, demanding immediate relief and compensation for the affected farmers and families.

Survey and Compensation for Crop Damage

Jitendra Singh Sengar, who represents the Banda-Hamirpur region, informed the Commissioner about the situation. He emphasized the need for an immediate survey in the affected areas and the provision of appropriate relief and compensation as per rules.

He particularly stressed the urgency of assessing the damage to farmers' crops and agricultural land quickly. This swift action is crucial to help the farmers begin the process of recovery.

Demand for Relief for Damaged Houses

MLC Sengar also prominently raised the issue of families affected by damaged or demolished houses in both urban and rural areas due to the excessive rainfall. He demanded that such families also be provided with financial assistance and relief amounts immediately as per regulations.
