Mission Shakti's Sixth Phase Focuses on Road Safety in Farrukhabad

Farrukhabad District hosted a special awareness program under the sixth phase of Mission Shakti, a campaign dedicated to the safety, respect, and self-reliance of women and girls. The initiative saw the Mahila Thana team, traffic police, and NCC students from Government Inter College collaboratively manage traffic at the Military Chowk intersection.

The primary objective of the program was to prepare the new generation as responsible citizens and educate them about the importance of traffic rules. Senior police officials provided the NCC students with practical training in traffic management and road safety.

Empowering Students with Road Safety Knowledge

The Additional Superintendent of Police and the Traffic Police T.S.I. in-charge offered the students hands-on knowledge regarding discipline and vigilance on the roads. This practical training aimed to equip them with the nuances of ensuring smooth traffic flow and pedestrian safety.

Intensive Road Safety Awareness Campaign

During the awareness drive, emphasis was placed on critical safety measures for drivers, including:

• Using seatbelts
• Adhering to speed limits
• Avoiding mobile phone use while driving

Police teams also distributed pamphlets related to traffic rules, encouraging the public to integrate safe traffic practices into their daily lives.
