Missing Woman and Two Children Found Safe After Three Years in Mahoba
Police in Mahoba have successfully located a young woman and her two children, who had been missing for nearly three years.

Woman and Children Found Safe
In the Srinagar police station area of Mahoba district, police have successfully reunited a young woman, missing for approximately three years, with her two children. This recovery has brought immense relief to the woman's family after years of uncertainty.
According to the police, Roshni, the daughter of Mahesh Kushwaha from Daudpura village, who went missing at the age of around 17, was found after persistent efforts by the Srinagar Police and the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) team. A case under Section 363 was registered in 2023.
Police Operation for Missing Persons
The recovery of the young woman and her children was part of a special campaign, initiated under the directives of Superintendent of Police Shashank Singh, to search for missing persons. Overseen by Additional Superintendent of Police Vandana Singh and Circle Officer Crime Ajay Pal Singh, the team led by Station House Officer Jaychandra Singh located the woman on September 22, 2026.
At the time of recovery, the young woman, Roshni, was found safe with her approximately two-year-old daughter, Ankita, and her 15-day-old newborn son, Keerat.
Legal Formalities and Gratitude
After completing all legal formalities, the police have sent the young woman and her two children to the women's district hospital and One Stop Centre for further necessary action and medical examination. The woman's family has expressed their gratitude to the police team for this commendable work.
Sub-Inspectors Jaychandra Singh, Chandrashekhar, Sandeep Vimal, and Constables Surendra Kumar and female constable Shilpa played significant roles in this recovery operation. The police's swift action has ended a prolonged period of uncertainty for the family.
