The Cliff News | Tendukheda | August 21, 2026 The second day of the Sankalp Kanwar Yatra, led by Madhya Pradesh Minister and MLA of Jabera assembly constituency, Dharmendra Singh Lodhi, reached Tendukheda. The yatra was grandly welcomed by devotees and local citizens.

This 121-kilometer Kanwar Yatra, commencing from Panchvati, Bhedaghat, has drawn thousands of participants. The journey is set to conclude in five days at Dev Shri Jageshwar Dham, Bandakpur, with immense enthusiasm among the pilgrims.

Minister Lodhi stated that his younger brother, Satyendra Singh Lodhi, is leading the expedition. The yatra is not merely a symbol of religious devotion but is also deeply intertwined with social concerns, striving to spread awareness about five critical issues: education, sanitation, environmental conservation, cow protection, and de-addiction.

Emphasis on Education and Environmental Protection

As part of the initiative, prizes are being distributed to students in various schools along the yatra route to encourage them. Simultaneously, a tree plantation drive is underway to promote the message of environmental conservation.

This endeavor represents a significant step towards ensuring a healthy environment for future generations.
