Millie Bobby Brown Reportedly Files Harassment Complaint Against Co-Star David Harbour

Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown has reportedly filed a harassment and bullying complaint against her on-screen father and co-star David Harbour, according to a report by the Daily Mail.

The publication cited an unnamed source claiming that Brown submitted a formal complaint before filming began for the Netflix show’s final season.

“Millie Bobby Brown filed a harassment and bullying claim before they started shooting the last season. There were pages and pages of accusations. The investigation went on for months,” the source alleged.

Neither Netflix nor representatives for Brown, Harbour, or the Duffer Brothers, who created Stranger Things, have commented publicly on the alleged filing.

The Daily Mail report added that Netflix is maintaining silence on the issue, with the source suggesting that “the fact they’ve not denied it speaks volumes,” though this claim has not been independently verified.

The allegations surface as Netflix prepares to release the first four episodes of the show’s final season later this month — one of the platform’s most anticipated global events.

Brown and Harbour portray Eleven and Jim Hopper, a father-daughter duo central to Stranger Things’ storyline since its debut in 2016. Their on-screen chemistry and close relationship during promotions had long been celebrated by fans.

The report also follows personal controversies surrounding Harbour’s estranged wife, Lily Allen, who alleged infidelity in her new album West End Girl. However, there is currently no direct connection between Allen’s statements and the harassment claims.

Harbour, whose breakout role came with Stranger Things, has since appeared in Marvel’s Black Widow, Violent Night, and Gran Turismo, and is set to reprise his role as Red Guardian in the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday (2026).

Brown, 20, has built a global fanbase through her performances in Stranger Things, Enola Holmes, and Damsel, alongside running her beauty brand Florence by Mills.
