On the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan, Bhopal Mayor Smt. Malati Rai expressed her respect for the city's police personnel by tying Rakhis on their wrists. The event, held on Friday at the Old Police Control Room, saw the Mayor wishing the officers a successful life.
During the ceremony, Mayor Smt. Rai specifically lauded the police personnel for their diligent and dedicated work in ensuring public safety, even in challenging circumstances. She conveyed her gratitude to the police force, emphasizing the importance of maintaining warm relations and trust in their protective role.
The Mayor stated that policemen ensure societal security through their tireless efforts, making this festival an opportunity to express gratitude towards them. Several other councillors, including Zone President Smt. Brijula Sachan, and social worker sisters also participated by tying Rakhis to their 'police brothers'.
