Training Launched for Teachers

A five-day foundational and math skills development (FIN) training program for teachers has been inaugurated at the Harraiya Satgharwa Block Resource Center in Balrampur district. The significant training initiative was officially launched by Block Education Officer Shamsher Singh.

Objective and Scope of the Training

This training aims to augment teachers' knowledge and skills, enabling them to deliver mathematics education more effectively at the primary level. The program is being conducted in two phases, with 50 teachers participating in each phase.

Key Focus Areas and Trainers

A total of 100 primary teachers will be exposed to the latest teaching methodologies and mathematical concepts. The training places a primary emphasis on strengthening fundamental mathematical skills, crucial for children's holistic development. Trainers, including Nirmal Kumar Dwivedi (Nodal Incharge), Subodh Srivastava, Umashankar Gupta, and Praveen Kumar, are providing in-depth insights into various techniques for teaching mathematics.

Enhancing Classroom Practices

The trainers are guiding teachers on practical challenges they face in the classroom and methods to overcome them. Emphasis is also placed on game-based and activity-based learning to make subjects like mathematics more engaging for students.

Several other teachers and education department officials, including Chaitanyanand Sharma, Anju Mishra, Neha Pathak, Rajkumar Verma, Savita Mishra, Charan Das Ojha, Poonam Shukla, and Awadhesh Kumar Sahu, were present at the event. This training program is anticipated to be a positive step for the entire education system, ultimately leading to quality education for students.
