Thousands of shops and commercial establishments across over 25 major markets in the city remain closed, posing a direct threat to the livelihoods of approximately 5,500 families. To further amplify their protest, demonstrators carried a symbolic funeral procession of the Municipal Corporation. They stated this represented the dismantling of small and medium-sized businesses established over many years.
