Cyber Safety Skills Imparted to Students in Mahoba

Mahoba | September 19, 2026. In a special cyber awareness campaign organized by 'Mera Yuva Bharat' Mahoba at the Government Girls' Inter College here on Saturday, students were taught skills to protect themselves from digital fraud. The campaign was part of the Seva Sankalp program and Seva Pakhwara.

The primary objective of this initiative was to educate the younger generation about the safe use of digital mediums and to prepare them as vigilant citizens against cybercrimes. Volunteers extensively informed the students about various methods of online fraud. They were specifically advised not to share their One-Time Passwords (OTPs), confidential bank details, passwords, or any other personal information with unknown individuals.

Furthermore, students were cautioned to avoid clicking on suspicious or unknown links and to be wary of deceptive unknown phone calls or messages. The campaign aimed to alert students to potential online threats and the importance of exercising caution during online transactions.

Cyber Security Workshop Held

A workshop was organized at the Government Girls' Inter College where volunteers provided detailed information on methods of cyber fraud. The purpose was to warn students about potential dangers on the internet.

During the program, emphasis was placed on the importance of exercising caution during online transactions and securing their digital footprint. Principal Sargam Khare of the Government Girls' Inter College and the school's teachers were also present.

Pledge for Safe Digital Behavior

Ayush Chaurasia and Ansh Khare, volunteers from 'Mera Yuva Bharat', familiarized the students with the technical aspects of cybersecurity.

At the end of the program, all participants took a pledge to remain fully vigilant in the digital world, enabling them to protect themselves from falling victim to any form of online fraud or cybercrime in the future. Such campaigns are expected to boost the confidence of the students and empower them digitally.
