Health Services Review Meeting Held in Mahoba

In a significant move to strengthen health services and ensure quality treatment for patients in government hospitals, District Magistrate Prabhash Kumar chaired an important meeting in Mahoba. The meeting, held at the Collectorate, focused on the District Health Committee and Patient Welfare Committee.

Zero Tolerance for Negligence in Medical System

During the review, District Magistrate Prabhash Kumar made it clear that any level of negligence in the medical system will not be tolerated. He issued directives to pay special attention to the adequate availability of doctors in hospitals, the uninterrupted supply of essential medicines, and the cleanliness of hospital premises.

Focus on Janani Suraksha Yojana and Maternal Health

The District Magistrate thoroughly reviewed the progress of the Janani Suraksha Yojana. Emphasizing the promotion of institutional deliveries, he instructed that incentive payments to eligible beneficiaries be ensured on time. The health department was also urged to take proactive steps to make maternal and child health services more effective.

Accelerating Ayushman Bharat Scheme Implementation

District Magistrate Prabhash Kumar also ordered an acceleration in the process of creating Golden Cards for eligible beneficiaries under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana. He specifically stressed the importance of ensuring that families identified under 'Zero Poverty' benefit from this scheme, so they do not lack access to quality healthcare services.

Strict Directives for Kabrai Health Center

In the review session, the District Magistrate issued strict instructions to the In-charge Medical Officer of Kabrai to bring about immediate improvements in health standards. He reiterated that departmental goals must be achieved within the stipulated deadlines. Ensuring the availability of basic facilities was emphasized to prevent patients from facing any unnecessary difficulties in receiving treatment at all health centers.

Call for Dedicated Service Delivery

The crucial meeting was attended by Chief Development Officer Balram Kumar, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Vinay Kumar, and several other senior officials and staff members from the health department. The District Magistrate called upon all concerned officials to discharge their responsibilities with complete sensitivity and promptness, ensuring that the common citizens of Mahoba receive better health facilities.
