Mahoba DM Conducts Surprise Inspection of Rural Self-Employment Training Institute

Surprise Inspection at RSETI

On Tuesday, August 11, 2026, Mahoba District Magistrate Gazal Bharadwaj made an unannounced visit to the Indian Bank Rural Self-Employment Training Institute (RSETI) in Mahoba. She was welcomed by District Lead Manager Saroj Kumar and the institute's director, Ramkumar Verma.

During the inspection, the District Magistrate engaged with trainees participating in the beauty parlor training program. She inquired about the facilities provided during their training and encouraged them to establish their own self-employment ventures.

Emphasis on Skill Development and Self-Reliance

The DM stressed the importance of youth becoming self-reliant by leveraging skill training. She urged young men and women from rural areas to actively participate in various employment-oriented training programs.

In line with her surprise inspection, the District Magistrate also participated in a tree plantation drive on the institute's premises, which saw enthusiastic involvement from the trainees.

Institute Director Expresses Gratitude

Institute Director Ramkumar Verma provided detailed information about the various training programs being conducted. He expressed his gratitude to the District Magistrate for her visit and inspirational presence.

The event was attended by a large number of trainees, along with institute faculty members Arun Kumar Upadhyay and Deepa Raikwar, Guest Faculty Harshita Renywal, Office Assistants Ashok Sahu and Rahul Kumar Gupta, and employees Surendra Bhushan and Shivkumar Pal.

Objective of the Inspection

The primary objective of this inspection was to assess the quality of training provided by the institute and to motivate the youth towards self-employment.
