Maheshwar Sees Groundbreaking and Inauguration of Development Projects Worth ₹5 Crore

₹5 Crore Development Projects Inaugurated and Launched in Maheshwar

To commemorate 25 years of service by the nation's esteemed Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the groundbreaking and inauguration of 28 various development works, costing approximately ₹5 crore, were held in the Maheshwar assembly constituency on September 23, 2026.

These development projects were initiated by Rajkumar Mev, the MLA of Maheshwar assembly constituency, with the aim of enhancing public amenities in rural areas. The development works include the construction of CC roads, culverts, safety walls, Panchayat buildings, Anganwadi buildings, primary school buildings, and sub-health centers in various gram panchayats.

These projects are designed to provide villagers with better public services, healthcare facilities, and essential resources for education and development.

Detailed Breakdown of Development Projects

Under these 28 projects, with a total cost of ₹5 crore, significant amounts will be allocated to various areas. Over ₹31 lakh will be spent in Matmur Gram Panchayat, over ₹67 lakh in Itavadi, over ₹116.22 lakh in Karoli, over ₹15 lakh in Ashapur and Manawar, ₹10.61 lakh in Temariya, ₹10.61 lakh in Urway, over ₹60.61 lakh in Mohana, and over ₹284 lakh in Mehtwada.

Additionally, the construction of a bridge connecting Mehtwada to the main road over the Maheshwari River is also part of these development initiatives.

Commitment to Public Service and Good Governance

Addressing the program, MLA Rajkumar Mev stated that the progress of the Maheshwar assembly constituency will continue uninterrupted with a commitment to public service, good governance, and development. He expressed confidence that the construction of these new buildings will enable villagers to access essential government services at the local level, thereby improving their standard of living.

During the program, MLA Rajkumar Mev interacted with the assembled villagers and listened to their concerns. He assured that all possible efforts would be made to resolve their issues.
