Madhya Pradesh Police have seized over ₹1.26 crore in illegal drugs and vehicles in a week-long statewide crackdown against narcotics.

Statewide Anti-Drug Operation Yields Significant Seizures
Madhya Pradesh Police have achieved notable success in their statewide campaign against the sale, storage, transport, and trafficking of narcotic substances. In the past week, police have confiscated illicit materials valued at over ₹1 crore 26 lakh, including cannabis, opium, dodachura, MD drugs, and vehicles used in trafficking.
Through these swift actions, police have arrested numerous individuals across various districts and ensured legal action is taken against them under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act and other relevant sections. A press release from the Public Relations Cell of the Madhya Pradesh Police Headquarters stated that these operations will continue, and stringent measures will be taken against individuals identified in the illegal drug trade network.
The police aim to eradicate the illicit drug trade completely, with a priority on seizing vehicles and properties used in smuggling. This persistent effort is a significant step towards breaking the network of illegal narcotics and protecting youth from addiction.
