Madhya Pradesh Police Demonstrate Swiftness in Saving Lives
The Madhya Pradesh Police have showcased their sensitivity and promptness not only in maintaining law and order but also in saving lives and providing assistance during critical times. Recently, courageous and humanitarian actions by the police in the state's Sidhi and Chhatarpur districts have saved multiple lives in two separate incidents.
Constable's Alertness Averts Tragedy in Sidhi
A state of panic ensued in the village of Konia, Sidhi district, when a 60-year-old man, Ramkaran Saket, attempted to hang himself inside his home. Upon receiving information about the incident, Constable Ravindra Singh, stationed with Dial-112, immediately rushed to the scene without a moment's delay.
After receiving no response despite repeated calls, Constable Ravindra Singh made an on-the-spot decision to break down the door and enter the house. He found Ramkaran Saket hanging from a noose, and with prompt action, he brought him down, saving his life. Station in-charge Sau Ni Neeraj Kumar arrived at the scene upon learning of the incident and counseled Ramkaran Saket.
During questioning, it was revealed that he had attempted this drastic step due to a marital dispute. The police resolved the dispute by counseling both parties, ensuring that such incidents do not recur. Superintendent of Police Sidhi, Shri Santosh Kori, praised Constable Ravindra Singh for his quick decision-making, courage, and dedication to duty, and announced a reward for him.
Passengers Safely Rescued from E-Rickshaw Accident in Chhatarpur
In another incident in Chhatarpur district, an e-rickshaw carrying passengers overturned on the Jatashankar Road in the Kishangarh police station area at night. Upon receiving the information, Kishangarh Station Officer Sub Inspector Kamaljeet Singh Mawai and Kupi Outpost In-charge Assistant Sub Inspector Jagdish Shivhare, along with their police team, immediately reached the accident site.
The accident situation was extremely critical. A child was trapped deep beneath the overturned e-rickshaw, while other passengers were also stuck inside the vehicle. In this sensitive environment, the police team displayed courage, intelligence, and unprecedented promptness, initiating a rescue operation immediately. The trapped child was safely extricated first. Subsequently, all other passengers trapped in the e-rickshaw were also successfully rescued.
The police also made arrangements to safely transport the passengers to Jatashankar Dham. Local citizens and passengers highly commended the police's swift and effective action. These incidents demonstrate that the Madhya Pradesh Police not only uphold the law but are also always ready to protect human lives and provide assistance in times of need.
