In a testament to their promptness and sensitivity, the Madhya Pradesh Police have successfully located and safely returned four minor girls who had gone missing from Morena district. The girls were found at Surat railway station in Gujarat within a 24-hour timeframe.
This operation highlights the police's dedication to ensuring the safe return of missing and vulnerable children. The incident occurred on August 15th, India's Independence Day, when the four girls attended a program at Garhi School in Jaura.
Investigation and Special Team Formation
When the girls did not return home by evening, their families became concerned and initiated a search around the school and surrounding areas. Upon failing to find any trace of them, a missing person report was filed at the Jaura Police Station on August 16th, and an investigation commenced.
Recognizing the gravity and sensitivity of the situation, Superintendent of Police, Morena, Shri Dharamraj Meena, ordered the formation of a special team at the police station level to ensure the immediate and safe recovery of the girls. Under the supervision of SDOP Jaura, Shri Nitin Baghel, a police team led by the Station House Officer of Jaura activated their informant network and conducted searches across various potential locations.

The police team worked tirelessly, employing both technical and ground-level efforts to locate the missing girls. Acting swiftly on crucial information received from informants, the four minor girls were safely recovered from Surat railway station in Gujarat on August 16th, with the assistance of the Government Railway Police (GRP).
